This course is ideal for people requiring Full First Aid at Work status, usually in medium to large premises or with higher risk workplaces, as an initial course or for someone that no longer holds a valid certificate. Refresher courses last 2 days and will re-qualify the candidate for a further 3 years as long as the initial qualification has not passed 28 days from expiration date on the certificate.

Nominated emergency first aiders or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course. This course meets the HSE requirements of anyone wanting to become a first aider at a place of work or someone wanting to become a fully qualified first aider.  Paediatric First Aid Course (12hrs) 

Who should attend?
This paediatric first aid course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework.
This course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, including teachers, au pairs and playgroup leaders looking after young children.
It meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the Approved Carers Scheme. It is also a great course for people studying an NVQ in Childcare and Education or people wishing to get a greater knowledge in caring for babies and children. For pricing click HERE
What is covered?
Making an emergency plan, basic life support and choking, the unconscious casualty, shock , wounds and bleeding, burns and electric shock, anaphylaxis, strain and sprains, fractures and dislocations, head and eye injuries, poison and harmful substances including bites and stings, heat and cold injuries, foreign bodies in the ear and nose, medical emergencies, epilepsy, asthma and hyperventilation, croup/stridor, epiglottis, diabetes, sickle cell, meningitis and suggested first aid kit contents.

Baby & Child Emergency First Aid (2hrs)

Who Should Attend?
This short course is designed for those that do not need a formal paediatric first aid qualification, but would like to know what to do in a medical emergency involving babies and children. This course is perfect for new or expecting parents, grandparents or anyone who will care for a baby or child. These courses can be run in your own home or more regularly we run these courses as larger groups at nursery's and day centres.

1-Day (6hr) Health and Safety in the Workplace

Who should attend?
This is an excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit all employees, particularly those who may be accepting a health and safety role, such as safety representative or a manager within their organisation.

The roles and responsibilities for health and safety in the work place. The value and importance of risk assessments. Identification and control of workplace hazards. how to respond to workplace incidents and accidents. The importance of controlling substances hazardous to health. Creating Safety management system's and ongoing management of them. 





1-Day (6hr) Fire Marshal & Fire Prevention Course


Who should attend?
This course is designed to ensure personal are aware of all pro active & reactive fire safety measures common in most workplaces, and also offers input in to the use and maintenance of firefighting equipment and how to deal with a fire, should one occur. The full day course offers candidates and additional level of knowledge and input so they can also perform the role of a fire marshal in their workplace and assist the responsible person in ensuring legal fire safety obligations are achieved. Manual Handling Training 

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to ensure that all employees are trained and competent in manual handling.

This Manual Handling Training Course provides the necessary information and training for organisations to understand more about the risks associated with manual handling, how to undergo a risk assessment and how to ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.
Who should attend?
The manual handling course is aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force. This includes, but is not limited to professions such as:
